This Department earlier functioned under Faculty of Agricultural Engineering. The Department offers four advance elective courses on Soil and Water Conservation to selected B. Sc. (Ag. ) Hons. students. The Department also offers courses leading to M. Sc. (Ag.) Degree. M. Sc. (Ag.) Students work on different research projects and submit dissertation. Study introduced in the Department mainly included land degradation, watershed management, soil and land use planning, hydrology, water resources etc.
