Educational Museum

 

A university museum is a repository of collections run by the university, typically founded to aid teaching and research within the institution of higher learning.

In agriculture museum,​ ​i​ts main​purpose is to illustrate how advances in farming science and technology have transformed the lives of Indians. The University is developing a ​two floors ​ first-class museum like​ facilit​ies​ at the right hand side of the main gate of the BCKV campus but it is not operational as on date.

In the place of Directorate of Extension Education,BCKV, a separate corner is earmarked ​in the ground floor, which exhibits farm tools and machinery, household implements, scientific instruments, trade tools, farm vehicles, early farming appliances etc. Other displays told the story of important agricultural crops etc. Few pictures are attached next for the same.

The section is open 10.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
