AICRP on Mushroom
AICMIP-All India Coordinated Mushroom Improvement Project is a continuing project to fulfill the mandates designed by Directorate of Mushroom Research, Solan. The key points in meeting the directives are a) to conduct surveys for collection of germplasm b) Initial Varietal Trials and Advanced Varietal Trials c) Post Harvest Experiments d) Extension activities.

Evaluation of different oyster mushroom species on wheat/paddy straw
Reporting pest and diseases with crop loss in seasonal and controlled mushroom farms (All Centres)
Mushroom consumption analysis: A household survey

• Extension activities- Conducting training programmes, demonstration, distribution of spawn, Consultancies to entrepreneurs and farmers
• • Experiential Learning Programme is conducted each year (Approx. 50 Students) for inculcating self reliance and job creating potential in students by taking up mushroom cultivation as start up in small groups.
